Multi-awarded Filipino Artist Charlie Co has created a public artwork which will be unveiled this afternoon at the New Government Center of Bacolod City.

The “Golden Age of Change,” according to artist Charlie Co, is comprised of a human figure, depicting the Filipino “Juan,” holding a trumpet (to announce the positive change) and the Philippine flag (love of country), while riding a galloping horse (to symbolize that the country is moving forward).

This figure, along with golden clocks and paper boats, is among the public art installations at the Bacolod Government Center Fountain Area.  The artwork unveiling is slated on Saturday [Oct. 8] at 6:00 p.m. as the art centerpiece of the 37th MassKara Festival.
