The Central Negros Electric Cooperative is assuring the Bacolod City public of no power interruptions during highlight days of the MassKara Festival, a source from the cooperative said. 

Ceneco has conducted line maintenance months before the festival and had replaced rotten posts in preparation to the possible storms and heavy rains which always occur during the months of October and November. 

A 24/7 standby units by cooperative in case there are problems on the connections and other electrical problems, the same source said.
 
Meanwhile Bacolod City Water District interim manager Mario Mactangay said there will be problems in some areas in Bacolod as a line was cut when a cane truck fell from a bridge in Villamonte, Bacolod City. 

The areas affected are Capitol Heights, Villamonte proper, Cabacawan, Purok Sabes, Villa Fe, purok Bayanihan, Villa Angela, Helvetia Heights, PHHC, Greensville III, Brgy. 17 and Burgos area.
