Seasoned advertising professional, Rudy Villar Jr., will be speaking on Branding 101 In A Digital World at the 2nd MassKara City's Digital and ICT Conference.

Started at ABS-CBN Bacolod as one of its pioneers; then moved to Advertising and stayed at McCann-Erickson Philippines the longest, handling the agency’s biggest account at that time, San Miguel Beer. At McCann, was tasked to launch and grow the agency’s subsidiary, Momentum, specializing in experiential marketing.

In 2005, was hired by the SM Group to head the marketing team of its Department Store chain; then as Senior AVP and Chief Branding Officer for Corporate Marketing, while heading the conglomerate’s real estate marketing team on the side.

Current position: Minister of Tourism (Family and School Sales Head) at KidZania Manila, a play city ruled by kids (opened at BGC, Taguig: February 2015)

Active in the industry being on the board of the country’s advertisers’ group, PANA and is also a regular panelist of the ASC, the industry’s advertising content self-regulating body.
